Fed: Refugee advocates demand guarantee visas wil be granted
Refugee advocates have demanded the federal government does not try to deny visas to
doctors hoping to assess asylum seekers on Nauru.
The government has refused to fund an independent medical team wanting to travel to
Nauru to assess detainees who've been on a month-long hunger strike.
But the doctors remain confident of raising funds to charter a flight to the tiny Pacific nation.
